This fully-contained, portable system is specifically designed for testing over-the-highway trucks. The AC dynamometer is unique, in that, it provides both power-absorbing as well as power-motoring. The motoring function provides downhill simulation.
The TD-24-AC-T is road legal in the US, Canada and Mexico and it takes LESS THAN 60 minutes to assemble (and disassemble) and begin testing. It has an axle weight rating of 20,000 lbs. (9,072 kg) per axle and a maximum speed rating of 75 mph (121 kph).
The TD-24-AC-T is an economical alternative to sophisticated in-house testing facilities that large OEMs often have for handling emission regulations.
